Tri-State Campaign members toured proposed sites of the Port Authority's airport rail project in Jamaica Center and in Woodside, Queens, Monday, Oct. 31. Returning to Regional Plan Assn's office for an afternoon meeting, RPA, Straphangers Campaign, Environmental Justice Alliance,
Sierra Club and Empire State Passengers Assn representatives reached an agreement on the negative features of the current project and began developing a work plan for presentation of alternatives which could overcome those drawbacks.
